The Hertfordshire East Branch of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was established in 1927 in order to raise money for local animal welfare.

The Branch is entirely run by volunteers.  The office is based in Letchworth and is open Monday to Friday.  You can contact the office on 01462 672278 or 484862.

The area covered by Herts East includes Ashwell, Baldock, Buntingford, Great Offley, Harpenden, Hertford, Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City, Oaklands, Stevenage, the Hadhams, Walkern, Ware, Welwyn, Welwyn Garden City and Wheathampstead.

The Hertfordshire East Branch is a separate, fully registered Charity in its own right and every penny raised is used for looking after local animals in our care and helping families who have fallen on hard times to look after their family pets if medical treatment is needed.

Thank you to all who give both time and money!

Anyone witnessing, or having knowledge of acts of cruelty or neglect of any animals should immediately contact the RSPCA National Call Centre on 0300 1234 999.

The RSPCA Hertfordshire East Branch is a registered Charity No. 208244
