Our ability to help local animals is supported by our charity shop in Hitchin.
We have a small friendly team lead by Claire our Store Manager and supported by our wonderful shop volunteers, who sell a variety of items from clothing to brick a brac to toys all in the aid of supporting our animal work.
So come along and see what we have to tempt you, everyone (including animals) are welcome.
We are always after good quality donations and accept a bag per customer except on Fridays where there is no limit on how many bags you can bring along. We run a Gift Aid programme on any donations meaning we can claim back an extra 25% off the government (as long as you are a UK tax payer) which goes a long way in making a real difference to the work we can do! Ask in store when dropping off your donations or read our leaflet on Gift Aid.
Shop Volunteers
We are always looking for shop volunteers so if you have just a few hours or a few days to spare each week please download and complete our shop volunteer application form and either email it to shop@rspcahertseast.org.uk post to us or drop off at the shop.
